Campuses (Enterprise)

4 min read

A group of schools can run every campus from one account. Each campus is a school in its own right, with its own schedules, staff, rooms, holidays and administrators, and the group owner can work in all of them.

Starting a group

  1. 1Open Settings. Under Campuses, name the group and the campus you are in now (for example Main campus), then Start a campus group.
  2. 2Add each further campus by name. It starts empty, like a new school, and you are its administrator.
  3. 3Switch to a campus from Settings or from the Campus menu in the sidebar, and build its schedules exactly as for any school.
💡 Switching saves the schedule you have open first, then loads the other campus. Nothing is shared between campuses unless you say so.

Administrators for each campus

Each campus has its own Users page. Add the campus’s own administrators and teachers there; they see only the campuses they belong to. The group owner sees every campus and a line of figures for each: schedules, how many are live, and how many people.

A teacher at two campuses

When a teacher teaches at two campuses, list them on both campuses’ Users pages under the same email. Generating a schedule at one campus then keeps that teacher free whenever they are teaching at the other, at the real time of day, even when the two campuses ring different bells.

💡 Names alone are never matched across campuses: every school has an “English Teacher 1”, and they are different people. Rooms are not compared either, because campuses are different sites.
