Features

Every tool your institution needs to schedule with confidence.

schedU applies the real constraints institutions live by - teacher availability, workload limits, rooms, electives - as explicit rules rather than a model’s guess, so the timetable you publish is conflict-free and every choice in it can be explained.

From input to zero conflicts

One schedule, every way you need to see it.

Class, Teacher, Room, Subject, Calendar, and print-ready Traditional - all six views read the same underlying schedule, so a change in one is a change in all of them. Generated in seconds, always conflict-free.

Auto-schedule you can question

Give schedU your teachers, subjects and sections, and it builds a complete, balanced timetable in about a second - by applying the rules a timetable in-charge applies, not by guessing. Every placement has a reason you can read, and regenerating gives the same answer twice.

⚠️

Clashes judged on the clock

Teacher and room double-bookings are checked by real time, so classes on different bells are compared correctly. Every edit is checked as you make it, and nothing you publish has a clash nobody was told about.

🔀

AND and OR elective groups

AND groups split classes into parallel groups (Hindi AND Odia) pooled across sections, each with its own teacher, room and headcount. An OR slot runs one of its subjects for the whole class, as the syllabus needs, and the teacher can take it on the day.

🔔

Bells by class group

Juniors and seniors can start, break and finish at different times: staggered lunches, a short Saturday, early dispersal. Every period keeps its real time through the timetable, the calendar and the exports.

🗂️

Several live schedules

Keep I-V and VI-X as separate schedules, both live. Generating one keeps clear of the teachers and rooms the other uses, and the calendar, corridor board and reports read them together.

📏

National norms as checkpoints

Teaching hours, teacher load and pupil-teacher ratio are checked against published norms before you generate. They are shown for you to decide on, never applied silently.

🏛️

Rooms, labs and grounds

Home rooms, labs, halls and outdoor grounds. Outdoor venues are shared up to their capacity, a group gets a room big enough for it, and no indoor room is booked twice.

🛟

Unavailability and cover

Teachers mark themselves unavailable from their own login. Cover is ranked by who is genuinely free and how full their day already is, across every live schedule, and assigned in one click.

🧑‍🏫

Every teacher’s own view

My teaching shows a teacher their own day across every schedule they teach in, the OR periods they can take, and the syllabus they have covered.

📤

Publish, export and share

Class, teacher, venue and parallel-lesson timetables with your school’s logo and header, as Print, PDF or Excel. Share a read-only copy with anyone, or only with listed emails.

No competitor has this

Same students, regrouped differently per subject.

Physics AND Chemistry runs both subjects in parallel - different groups attend their own teacher and venue at the same slot. PE OR Paintingis a choice for the period - one of the two runs for the whole class, as the syllabus needs, and the teacher can take it on the day. schedU turns either into clash-free groups, pooling students across sections and recording each group’s headcount for the Parallel Lessons export.

Room & resource planning

One schedule, every building.

Labs, halls, and shared spaces across every block - schedU places each period where it fits, honouring room type and capacity automatically.
